Walk & Talk: A letter from LivUpdated a month ago
Losing my mum in 2017 and my brother in 2021 made me realise how little support exists for those navigating grief. Walking became my therapy—a way to reflect, heal, and connect with others who understand.
In March 2024, I walked 313km from Cardiff to London, covering a marathon a day for eight days, to honour my loved ones and raise £13,000 for Marie Curie. Along the way, people joined me—many who had experienced loss themselves—turning the journey into a powerful space for conversation, reflection, and community. It was during this walk that Walk and Talk was born, a space where healing happens, one step at a time.
Now, in March 2025, I’m taking on the challenge again, inviting even more people to walk, talk, and support one another. Whether for a mile or a marathon, everyone is welcome. Let’s step forward together.
